I’ve never been very good at fitting everything into one neat little box. But I'll do my best.

I write songs. I tell stories. I chase ideas longer than I probably should. I’ve taken the long way more than once, changed directions when I had to, and learned that sometimes the parts of life that make the least sense in the moment are the ones that end up giving you the most to write about.

Music has always been the thread running through all of it.

Some songs come from things I’ve lived. Some come from things I’m still trying to understand. Some show up carrying old ghosts, half-healed scars, bad decisions, good memories, and pieces of people and places I thought I’d left behind. I try not to clean them up too much. Life usually sounds better when you leave a little dirt on it.

I’m from Florida, but not the postcard version. My roots are in back roads, working people, hot nights, loud guitars, family, mistakes, second chances, and the kind of stories that tend to get better—or worse—the longer you tell them.

I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years, and I’m still figuring out which ones are worth keeping.

These days, I’m writing more, questioning more, and trying to build a life that feels a little more like my own. There’s new music coming. There are other things taking shape too. Some of it I can explain. Some of it I probably won’t until it’s ready.

That’s kind of the point of this place.

It’s not just about the songs. It’s about where they come from. The life around them. The people, the miles, the changes, the good days, the hard ones, and the mess that usually sits somewhere in between.
